The Gandal Lab

The Gandal lab employs systems-level, multi-omic approaches using human brain samples to investigate the biological mechanisms underlying genetic risk for neurodevelopmental and psychiatric disorders, including autism, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder. We are located within Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Research Center (IDDRC), within the UCLA Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences and the Semel-Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior. We are affiliated with UCLA PhD Programs for Neuroscience (NSIDP), Genetics and Genomics, and Bioinformatics.
